WBU Pacific Northwest Championship Title 13 January 2017

(Atlanta, Georgia, USA) (12 January 2017)- Don “Moose” Lewis, President of the World Boxing Union, Inc., known as "the WBU", proudly announces the WBU Pacific Northwest Super Featherweight title fight between Juan Jaramillo and Rob Diezel on 13 January 2017 at the Jackson County Expo in Central Point, Oregon, USA. This is the third meeting between the two combatants but the first time with a title on the line.  Both previous fights went the distance with Diezel taking both decisions but Jaramillo comes in confident.  States Mr. Lewis “This is the fight of the night no doubt. The previous fights were toe to toe and brought the house down.  Now there is the prestigious WBU title on the line and no doubt everything will be left in the ring as each boxer wants to take this belt home.”  At the weigh-in today, both fighters came in under contract weight with Jaramillo at 129.2 pounds and Diezel at 127.1 pounds
